For Sisters, by Sisters

A booklet that shows how we are all connected.

I decided to create a zine about sisterhood that dissects and analyzes familial relationships through the female perspective. The design juxtaposes minimalist and maximalist layout through the use of textures, images and layering. This zine is filled with short interviews illustrating how sisters answer, what is it like being a sister? I did not include my name on the zine because it is made up of a collective of experiences and thus, shared authorship. Therefore, the title is For Sisters, by Sisters to credit all the authors. The goal of this project was to analyze the things that connect humanity.

Sisterhood means mutual companionship — however different, separate, or incongruous our lives may be, we are always together.
